You might have seen the latest viral dessert on your TikTok feed appearing in the form of an overfilled cream bun. Known as ‘maritozzo’, these sweet Italian pastries are typically filled with lots of whipped cream and dusted in icing sugar. The picturesque village of Polperro, Cornwall has not only been coined the ‘coolest town’ in the UK as reported in a public poll by CBD company Naturecan, but it is also home to some of the best fish and chips, an interesting museum, and even a bar for dogs, yes, really.

Dark history of a lovely London park with bodies buried underneath
On the surface, Kennington Park in South London seems like an attractive spot featuring a flower garden, gorgeous greenery, a cafe, and even a skate bowl. Given its location just north of Brixton and near the Oval, the park also has (unsurprisingly) historical links to cricket, and was one of the earliest venues for the sport back in the 1700s.
